How will you advertise my house?

On our website www.stratfords.co.uk, via Rightmove (the UK’s no.1 property portal) and in the local press (MK Citizen).

Is there a sole agency contract?

No - you can use us AND any other agent or indeed any other means of promoting your house you like.

What if I am using a High street agent already?

If you're tied in to a sole agency agreement with them you'll have to wait until it's over. If you're on a multi agency agreement then there should be no problem. Of course, you've got to hope that you sell it through Stratfords first as you'll save a fortune!

Can you organise an EPC?

Yes, talk to your valuer.

How long will you market my house for?

As long as it takes to sell…which won’t be very long at all! If you decide to take the house off of the market briefly and put it back on then there is no charge for that either.

How do I pay?

Whatever suits you best - cash, cheque or bank transfer.

Are you just an online company or "virtual agency"?

Do you mean are we just hiding behind a website? No. We're all real people; well, estate agents anyway!

What happens if I want to change or update my property details?

No problem, give us a call and we'll make the changes for you, real time. And no, there is no charge.

How will I receive offers?

The buyer will make the offer through us and we'll negotiate on your behalf. There is no additional charge for this.

What happens when my house is sold?

Once an offer has been accepted by yourself and you are happy that the sale is progressing we shall remove the house from the market. We will then proceed to chase through the solicitors, chain and mortgage brokers involved to keep the transaction running smoothly. Should you need any updates during this time we will assign you with a dedicated member of staff who can keep you informed of any progress.
